- Companies don't really care about a salary increase

- Use their own words those are convincing to them
- Confirm any promises in an email asking if you understood correctly
- Talk about their problems, that is what they care about
- If you need to stall pretend you need to talk it over with the family
- If they tell you something is out of there control, sympathise and switch to something they can control

- ask if the user wants to make any changes to the tone
- ask if the user use specific words.
- ask if the user wants to see multiple versions of the revised text.
- ask if the user wants to see the corrections
- ask if the user suggestions to improve the text.
